In the summer of 1912, the artist of the Whirlpool family gathered in the airy, bright room of Kozlov ‚chaloupky‘ to draw a small family portrait. In the illuminated room, with a floating white curtain, he brought the whole family to his brother-in-law Karl, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Elu’s wife, and this time he painted into the family community and myself.

V létě 1912 shromáždil umělec Velrychovu rodinu ve vzdušném, světlém pokoji kozlovské „chaloupky“, aby nakreslil Malou rodinnou podobiznu. Do prosvětleného pokoje se vzdouvající se bílou záclonou přivedl celou rodinu švagra Karla, svého tchána a tchýni, manželku Elu a tentokrát namaloval do rodinného společenství
i sebe.
